About K-12

K-12 is a 3 part multi-media series about Kawaki Academy. The 1st part is a manga centering the student council, the 2nd part is a game centering the lower floor, and the 3rd part is a game centering the teachers. This page will (for now) specifically highlight "K-12: SIDE AZALEA" which is about:

Azalea Davis is your average foreign exchange student just simply trying to get by and have fun with her friends, and well, she's actually been doing pretty good at that until her 2nd year of high-school. Why? Well, you see, this boy named Heroin (yeah. That's his name) recently started bullying and straight up sexually harrassing her friend and super cute crush Lilya! And the stress has gotten to a point where Lilya has begun to consider suicide. Azalea, not wanting to lose her, decides she'll do anything in her power to protect her! But... what can she do if she's powerless herself...? And who's gonna help her when the people she asks keep dumping their problems onto her...? Who is she supposed to help? Who is she supposed to save? And why is she so scared of both losing people and people depending on her in the first place...?

Characters

Azalea Davis

A foreign exchange student who moved to Japan after her mother and father's VEEEEERY rough divorce. She's into just about everything boy-ish. From shonen anime, to fighting games, to soccer, you name it! She's also got quite the mouth, and tends to sprinkle a lot of New York style english into her Japanese. She values her friends more than anything, seeing them like "her treasures" and wanting only the best for them. This often leads to her losing her mind trying to help everyone, since they all have some sort of mental issues, but she doesn't mind. She has a huge crush on Lilya and would do anything for her. Her dere typing is Kahodere.

Lilya Kayano

A shy girl who tends to herself most of the time. She's always either siting in the back of the class reading, or helping out in the garden to the best of her ability. An insanely studious girl indeed! She's also incredibly sensitive to people's emotions, even being able to feel them in the pit of her stomach at times. This makes it so that she can read people very, very, very easily. As of recently, she's been getting picked on by Heroin, and has become increasingly depressed by this. But... less because she's a victim of his and more so because... Her dere typing is a Byouki and Utsu combi!!

Vanilla Flores

A young mexican boy who was surprisingly born and raised in Japan. He's a kind soul who's always trying his hardest to help everyone, but, due to how dense he and naive he is, tends to come off as superficial when it comes to issues rooted far deeper than he can comprehend. Despite this, he actually is quite smart, just struggles with showing it. In fact, one could even call him the honor student of the special needs class! He's fully blind, so he relies on his childhood friend Lilya to be his eyes. It's often speculated he has a crush on her due to his overbearing care for her, so he's Azalea's blissfully unaware one-sided rival. His dere typing is Deredere.
